Do you provide a warranty?

We provide a fully backed 3-year product warranty on all glass systems!

We are in the business of helping our customers with smart choice solution for their glass systems. Our fully backed 3-year product warranty helps to re-assure our customers and provide them with confidence in choosing Tuff Stuff Design products.

Can the glass be installed to any surface?

Glass can be applied to most surfaces.

Our experienced installation team are fully trained to achieve a highly finish. Frameless 10mm glass can be installed on most tiled surfaces. Anything you can do with framed shower screens, you can do with frameless shower screens.

What is tempered glass?

Tempered glass is glass that has been heat-treated to make it approximately four times stronger than normal.

During the process, the glass passes through an oven via a conveyer belt. This helps to guarantee safety and help avoid harm or damage. The key to safe frameless shower screen is quality hardware & fittings as well as expert installation.

What is the difference between framed and frameless shower screens?

Frameless shower screens have no metal frame or enclosure.

With the exception of the hinges for the door as well as clamps for fixed panels (if any) and a handle, there is absolutely no other metal or hardware with a frameless shower enclosure.

Does a frameless shower screen leak?

We provide a full 3-year product warranty and 7-year workmanship guarantee to secure your investment.

Our expert installation team provide the highest quality service using the best fittings & hardware available. The Tuff Stuff team will make sure there are minimal gaps (i.e. between moving parts like hinges) and provide a long term workmanship guarantee for your peace of mind.

Is it available in custom sizes and shapes?

Yes, frameless showers can be custom fabricated in a wide range of configurations to suit your needs.

Our design and installation team will go over all available options with you and provide a free estimate based on your requirements. With over 25 years in the business, we are experts at customising shower screens to fit the most obscure and challenging bathrooms.

What type of glass do you use with frameless shower screens?

We use Australian Safety Standard toughened glass with all installations.

All frameless shower screens use 10mm toughened tempered glass including float, starfire and opaque finishes.

Does frameless shower screen need a support?

No.

In most case a support structure is not required with frameless glass shower screens. We can use a glass support shelf for your peace of mind.

What finishes do you have for frameless shower screens fittings?

We offer a wide range of chrome frameless hardware fittings.

We offer a wide selection of fittings & hardware for your installation and design. We only use the highest quality fittings and hardware with our installations from industry recognised suppliers including Fethers, Estelle and CR Laurence. If you desire an alternative product or hardware, we are happy to work with your requirements.

If my frameless shower screen door is wall mounted will it be strong enough?

Your shower screen door can be hung off a wall of tiles over plasterboard.

Our expert team will have a good look at your bathroom and requirements and determine the best approach for your structure. The frameless shower screen structure will be strong enough to support the installation as well as fitted to Australian Safety Standards.

What colours are your bathroom splashbacks availabe in?

We have a wide range of colours to suit your bathroom.

The splashback colour range and finish is limited only by your imagination. The cost may vary for complex colours like metallics. Our team will work closely with you in assisting to choose the perfect match for your bathroom or kitchen.

Do you do kitchen splashbacks?

We can help you using our partners at BBS Glass Splashbacks for the installation.

We primarily specialise in bathroom splashbacks at Tuff Stuff Design.

My splashback needs powerpoint, phone plugs and access for intercom system?

No problems! We will custom fit and install to meet your requirements.

All of these are simple additions to your Splashback. A simple hole is cut (smaller that the power point, outlet or intercom) to allow the devices to sit cleanly on the surface of the glass. This is all part of the regular installation process.

When can I order my splashback?

Splashbacks are custom made. Your bathroom must be fully installed first.

As all splashbacks are custom made, as a result the bathroom must be fully installed.

Why do I really want a mirror?

Mirrors can be decorative as well as function in providing depth to a small space.

Mirrors can add a touch of elegance to any room particularly a room with an outside view you would like to "bring into" the room in question.

Can a light fixture be attached through a mirror?

Yes. We have experience in all types of customisations.

With over 25 years in the glass industry, we have fitted and customised shower screen, splash backs and a wide variety of mirrors to suit our customers. If a light fixture is needed for mirror, we will make it happen. Safety is always paramount first.

What brands do you use for your fittings and hardware?

We only use the highest quality fittings and hardware with our installations.

We are use a combination of well known, high quality brands from Fethers, Estelle and CR Laurence. If you desire an alternative product or hardware, we are happy to work with your requirements.

Will the fittings and hardware match existing faucets and modern bathroom design?

Yes. In most cases, the hardware will be available on the market.

In most cases we will find a close match choice to blend in with to the style of your bathroom.

All glass installations including shower screens, mirrors and bathroom splash backs are handled entirely by Tuff Stuff Design. Our good friends at BBS Glass Splashbacks assist us with kitchen splash backs - they are experts we trust, with over 20 years in the industry.
